Itinerary:
Pick up at your hotel around 8:00am. Morning visit the Tian'anmen Square, the heart of Beijing and large enough to accommodate an assembly of one million people. It stands in front of the Forbidden City, covering over 100 acres. Then visit the Forbidden City, It also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties. It is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Built between 1406 and 1420.A period extending over 500 years. This afternoon visit the temple of heaven where Chinese emperors used to pray the good harvest. At last visit theHuTong, Then take rickshaw going around the deep Hutong in Shichahai area, visiting a kindergarten, an ordinary family in a courtyard and Drum Tower. Ascend the drum tower and have a bird's eye view of the old Beijing - Shichahai area. Finally take rickshaw to Nanluoguxiang, a lane or hutong with a history of over 700 years dating back to Yuan Dynasty in 13th and 14th century. Running from north to south, this lane is about 800 meters long with 16 hutongs - 8 hutongs on each side of the lane. The lane is now famous for the cafes and bars and clothing and handcraft shops that line its hutong laneways as well as its traditional hutong and courtyards (siheyuan).next for lunch,and go to visit silk factory ,to understand the process of silk making process, you can choose some products there also. In the afternoon your tour is going to visit to the Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest.
