Itinerary:
Pick up from your hotel at 8:30 am. Today's tour will take you to visit Tian An Men Square, the world largest. The heart of Beijing and large enough to accommodate an assembly of one million people. It stands in front of the Forbidden City, covering over 100 acres. Then visit the Forbidden City, It also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties. It is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. Built between 1406 and 1420.A period extending over 500 years.
In the afternoon your tour is going to visit to the Summer Palace, the best preserved and the largest royal garden in China, with a history of over 800 years. In 1998, it was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Then take rickshaw going around the deep Hutong in Shichahai area, visiting a kindergarten, an ordinary family in a courtyard and Drum Tower. Ascend the drum tower and have a bird's eye view of the old Beijing - Shichahai area. Finally take rickshaw to Nanluoguxiang, a lane or hutong with a history of over 700 years dating back to Yuan Dyansty in 13th and 14th century. Running from north to south, this lane is about 800 meters long with 16 hutongs - 8 hutongs on each side of the lane. The lane is now famous for the cafes and bars and clothing and handcraft shops that line its hutong laneways as well as its traditional hutong and courtyards (siheyuan). After your tour of Nanluoguxiang, you have two choices: either transferred back to your hotel in Beijing or enjoy your happy time at Naluoguxiang for the rest of the time.
